Road-map to transform Education through Global Collaboration

Sinhgad Technical Education Society was founded by Prof. M.N. Navale an education baron and philanthropist of this era.  STES’ Sinhgad Institute of Management, the dream academic destination of many, had organized a 3-day International Webinar on Transforming Education Through Global Collaboration: The Roadmap in Association with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Faculty of Commerce and Management, Pune, Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, Corporate Gurukul Singapore, Happy Marketer Singapore, BPB Publications, Pune Business School (PBS) and Association of Indian Management Schools. There were 1000+ attendees (participants) including academicians, experts, scientists, management gurus, VC’s of foreign universities, research scholars, industry professionals, aspiring students, and policymakers in education from India as well as international.
 For education, we have to work out strategic solutions on how to reshape the education to adapt to an uncertain, complex, diverse world. Smart education shall be an innovative way to survive in an intelligent era. Online learning is transforming the landscape of education.
 The transformation in education was addressed across the following dimensions:
 Learning Theories and The Importance of Collaboration- 
 Collaboration of countries, societies, and cultures should happen so that this synergy between multiple forces will work towards holistic education transformation. There should be practical considerations when researching and designing a strategy for the digital transformation of education and academic evidence can be used while working through the key challenges. Theory of behavior, cognition, connectivity, and constructivity will form culture for collaboration. The said perspective in bringing about the transformation was presented by the Heads of Sinhgad Institute of Management, namely Dr. Daniel Penkar and I, Dr. Chandrani Singh, the key stakeholders of this event. 
 1. Transformation in Education – New Road Ahead (Post COVID Opportunities and Challenges)  
 Effective leadership and policy, modern teaching and learning, intelligent environments, and technology blueprint will enable education transformation. The goal is to enable a complete re-imagining of learning, anytime, anywhere, which can improvise on student’s engagements. This was discussed by Dr. Parag Kalkar Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, SPPU, Pune.
