NSS Unit Govt. P.G. College, Mant, Mathura organized COVID- 19 Online Training Programme on 23 April 2020. The programme was started with the welcome of the chief guest, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra by Dr. R. V. S. Chauhan, coordinator, NSS, Dr. B.R. Amb. University, Agra. Dr. Mittal inspired all programme officers and volunteers participated in the training programme to work with full-fledged in the fight. He assured the trainees to be with them in the fight against COVID 19. State Liaison Officer, Dr. Anshu Mali Sharma said to the volunteers to keep on their efforts on Muskurayega India Initiative and for the active participation in COVID- 19 Awareness Online Training Programmes. In a special address, Dr. Ashok Shroti, Director, NSS Uttar Pradesh said that each volunteer should inspire at least five persons to install Aarogya Setu Apps on their Andriod Mobiles and every NSS student should register on it Diksha Portal to get the Awareness Training of Covid- 19. Dr. Minakshi Vajpeyi, the principal of the college assured her full cooperation with the volunteers.
The main trainer, Dr. L.S. Acharya, Dy. Commissioner, Disaster response Team, India highlighted the safety precautions on the use of Masks and other things. Dr. Harijinder Singh, Mental Health Practitioner from Maholi, Chandigarh, and Dr. Sandeep Kumar from BHU, Varanasi told the sound and healthy mental and behavioral patterns to continue the fight on COVID 19. Dr. Mukesh Kumar Malviya, faculty of Law, BHU, Varanasi, discussed the legal aspects of COVID 19 Lock Down if someone disobeys. Dr. Chauhan inspired the volunteers to make a huge number of masks. Shivkumar Mishra from University Cell cooperated in organizing the programme. The programme was concluded and briefed by Dr. Dhariwal, District Nodal Officer, Mathura. Dr. Deen Dayal, Programme Officer thanked all participants.
